Dox Design’s Design Lab - Ongoing Design Support for Small Businesses
Whether or not you believe in New Year’s resolutions, January is a great month to plan for the year ahead; a fresh start in thinking about where you want to be professionally 12 months down the line. But we know how overwhelming, even how intimidating, it can be not only to draw up plans and goals, but to execute them.
When it comes to branding, businesses hire professional designers for a reason. But unfortunately, most designers will swoop in, elevate your brand, and then say, Bye, good luck! In fact, we’ve heard from our own clients who struggle with how to fully utilize their new brand after our work is done, or how to continue implementing their brand plan as time goes on. That’s why we began The Design Lab - a supportive Dox Design service that allows our current and past clients access to us for an entire day.
What is Design Lab?
Design Lab is perfect for small businesses (pet businesses or otherwise) who need ongoing support but don’t have the resources to hire a full-time or in-house designer. Rather than having to swim through complicated quotes for multiple projects and spending money on unnecessary back-and-forth communications with your designer, you’ll have one whole day entirely devoted to you. That means we get more projects done and you get to save money.
In just one day, you’ll receive digital graphics, such as social media graphics, blog and newsletter graphics, digital ads, and much more. You’ll also receive a wide variety of all the print materials and environmental graphics that you need, including but not limited to:
Print ads, mailers, etc.
Brochures, postcards, and rack cards
Trade show signage
Store signage
And much, much more… you name it!
How Does it Work?
At least one week in advance, you’ll schedule your Design Lab Day, giving us a detailed list of items you’d like for us to work on. We will follow up at least 48 hours before your day with a list of action items that we can reasonably achieve for you to approve on.
Next is your Design Day, when our team starts first thing in the morning tackling our goals. Mid-day, we’ll send you a first draft, and based on your feedback, spend the rest of the day fine-tuning and perfecting your projects. By 4pm (EST), you’ll receive a final design preview!
After your preview, we’ll spend the rest of our day adding all the necessary finishing touches and getting all your files ready to print and go. By 10am the next day, you’ll have all your downloadables ready for you!
