From drab to fab: Reviving an outdated brand for a LGBTQ-friendly resort with color and playfulness. 

We loved creating this colorful and inclusive brand for The Dunes Resort. This LGBTQ-friendly resort sits in the beautiful town of Saugatuck along Lake Michigan and is known for their crazy-fun pool parities and multiple event spaces and bars. After spending the last 20+ years with the same late 90s/early 2000s logo and visuals, The Dunes reached out to Dox Design to help bring this brand back to life with a brand refresh.

Dox Design revamped The Dunes’ logo to play off the waves of Lake Michigan and give a nod to the LGBTQ equality symbol. We then handcrafted the most vibrant color palette we could imagine and paired it with bright, simple photography to complement. The Dunes’ new #droolworthy branding can now be found all around the resort, from signage to hotel keys. We highly recommend experiencing The Dunes this summer!
